WELCOME TO SOHLMEDITATIONS

Welcome to Sohlmeditations, a weekly ministry of meditations specifically designed to address the hearts of men and women. Guided by God, the founder, author and speaker of Sohlmeditations, James Holley, shared the first meditation on January 7, 2008. Sohlmeditations is dedicated to sowing the "Divine word of God" into the hearts and minds of men and women all over the world. “It starts with the individual,” whether single or married, God has a word for your heart. Here at Sohlmeditations, hear God’s word for you, through testimonies and experiences of its founder. Become a part of the Sohlmeditations Family and experience the word of God.

MISSION

To sow a seed "The word of God" into the hearts of men and women that will propel them to their God-given destiny.

VISION

For we are his workmanship, "Created in Christ Jesus" for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10) NASB

WHAT DOES SOHL MEAN?

MEDITATING: carries the idea of one engaging in contemplation or reflection; to focus one's thoughts on: reflect on or ponder over; to engage in mental exercise for the purpose of reaching in mental exercise for the purpose of reaching a heightened level of spiritual awareness. (Philippians 4:8)

Pronounced "Soul." Being the only one of the kind; unique; unsurpassed; matchless: the sole brilliance of the gem.

Wonderfully made "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works and that my soul knows right well." (Psalms 139:14)

STANDING

Standing on the foundation of God. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (Joshua 1:8)

OBEDIENT

Obedient to the word of God. Obeying is better than sacrifice. (1 Samuel 15:22)

HUMILITY

Humbly submitting themselves to God. Wherefore He said, God resists the proud but gives more grace to the humble. (James 4:6)

LOVING

Loving God first. Thou shall have no other Gods before me. (Exodus 20:3)
